What it’s like to live in Palm Aire
Palm Aire grew up around golf. The Palms course opened in 1959, a lodge followed in 1962, and a hotel and spa were added in 1971. Today Palm Aire Country Club runs three courses: the Palms, laid out by William Mitchell, and the Oaks and the Cypress, both by Tom and George Fazio.
Most homes here are condominiums and villas built between the 1960s and the early 2000s, along with townhouses and single-family homes. The area is made up of many smaller communities, and part of the original Palm Aire, including Palm Aire Village West, lies within Fort Lauderdale.
